Critics
Every month we bring two to three critics to Wassaic to do one-on-one studio visits with our residents. Visiting critics give a presentation about their work, followed by a q + a. The critics are curators, gallerists, artists and writers from institutions including the Whitney Museum, MASS MoCA, No Longer Empty and many more. We are very proud that some of the relationships formed during these visits between our residents and guest critics have sprouted into to artistic collaborations, group shows and gallery representation.
