Summer: Wood Shop
a. Orientation: All residents must attend the WARP lead orientation at the beginning of each month. If for any reason, a resident cannot attend, they must schedule a run through with the Residency Director or someone assigned by the Residency Director. After the orientation, if any resident still feels hesitant about any of the equipment, the resident must notify WARP and ask for further assistance or direction.
b. Supplies: For a full list of the equipment provided by WARP, see below. Any additional supplies, such as hardware, tape, etc, residents provide for themselves.
c. Use: The wood shop is a communal space. Residents must clear off their work spaces each day when they finish. Any equipment borrowed must be signed out and must be returned to its place. Residents will only use materials that are authorized by WARP or purchased for themselves.
d. Misuse: In the case that any equipment provided is broken, the residents must notify the Residency Director immediately. At the discretion of WARP, any damages due to resident misuse or negligence will be deducted from the resident’s deposit. In the case that the value of the equipment broken exceeds the resident’s deposit, the resident will further reimburse WARP for damages.
e. Fees: There are no monthly fees for the wood shop.
